1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Solas application and related services. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. The Spirit of This Policy

Solas is built for people who want to improve their health, fitness, and quality of life in a safe and constructive way. Every rule in this policy flows from one principle: Solas must never be used to harm yourself or others.

3. Prohibited Uses

3.1 Self-Harm and Crisis Content

You may not use the Services to request information, instructions, or assistance related to self-harm, suicide, suicidal ideation, or methods of self-injury.

3.2 Harmful Health Practices

You may not seek guidance on:

You may not request instructions for harming others, generate content that threatens individuals or groups, or plan or facilitate any act of violence.

You may not seek guidance on illegal activities, illegal substances, weapons, fraud, identity theft, or any violation of applicable law.

You may not attempt to bypass, override, or manipulate the Services' safety systems through any means, including:

You may not use the Services to generate content that promotes eating disorders or unhealthy body image, medical misinformation, or content designed to harm vulnerable individuals.

3.7 Platform Abuse

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, share account credentials, scrape data from the Services, or interfere with the operation of the Services.

Permanently suspended accounts are not entitled to refunds of any subscription fees paid.

Appeals

Users who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Safety Appeal". Appeals are reviewed within 48 business hours. Solas's decision on appeal is final.

If you encounter a response that appears harmful, inaccurate, or in violation of this AUP, use the "Report" button on any AI response in the app, or contact [email protected].
